There are two facilities in Darby, Pennsylvania, which at least gives you a few options to choose from. This city's nursing homes received an excellent city grade of B+, so what this place lacks in quantity, it makes up for in quality. For comparison's sake, we also looked at the nursing homes in the nearby city of Norristown, which received a city grade of C. We found Darby to be a far better option. We were also pleased to find that this place's nursing homes didn't have any weak links in any of the four major categories. To pair with its strong overall grade, we awarded Darby a grade of A for our inspections rating. Inspection scores are tied to several datapoints found on the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Places that receive favorable grades in this area have few deficiencies on their reports. Most importantly, these nursing homes should not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with endangerment of patients. In addition, the city also really excelled in the area of long-term care, where we gave it an A-. Rounding out its report card, the city received a B+ in our nursing category and a B for short-term care. Darby did not have any weak links as far as we could tell.
