There are two facilities in Temple City, California, which at least gives you a few choices. This place's nursing homes were awarded a respectable city grade of B-. In fact, this city's city grade far surpassed the city grade of nursing homes in the local city of Montebello. While this grade are not that bad, we found Temple City to be on a whole other level. The best part of this place's profile was is its long-term care grade. We discuss long-term care in the following paragraph.
This city's nursing homes' overall grade was propped up by its favorable long-term care score. We awarded the city one of our higher grades in that category, with a B+. When nursing homes receive a score in this range in long-term care it generally means it's well-staffed and is a quality place to reside on a permanent basis. In addition, the city earned a B for the city's nursing rating. In the last two categories, we gave Temple City grades of B- and D for our inspections and short-term care areas respectively. As you can see, this city's short-term care grade really dragged down its overall score. This may be a significant concern for anyone in need of rehabilitation.
