In addition to receiving a great overall grade, this facility also received an A+ long-term care grade. Facilities that receive this kind of score in long-term care tend to provide consistent around the clock care to ensure residents are well cared for. Once we assessed the volume of care provided by nurses, we then analyzed the nursing home's vaccination data. This nursing home vaccinated 100 percent of its patients against pneumonia, which is very impressive. Pneumonia is too frequently a dangerous ailment for nursing home residents so we like it when a nursing home does not roll the dice on this issue. Avoiding major falls is typically a good indicator that a place has reliable quality controls in place. Major falls can frequently be prevented if more nurses aids and better safety protocols are in place.

The final area we assessed was short-term care, where this nursing home received a grade of B-. While this proved to be its worst category rating, this is still not a poor grade.
