While its overall score was awful, we awarded the nursing homes in Oak Lawn a B for our inspections rating. This category clearly was not the reason for this city's concerning overall grade. We take several aspects of a facility's inspection report into consideration in determining these inspection scores. One key factor is deficiencies. You should keep in mind that the severity of the deficiencies is arguably more meaningful than the number of deficiencies, as some are quite minor.
