As mentioned above, this city's nursing homes received a great overall grade, but we also wanted to point out that some of its nursing homes received nearly flawless health inspections the past few years. We awarded Miami an impressive grade of A in this category. Arguably the most important factor we look at in determining our inspection ratings is deficiencies. Deficiencies are found on a facility's inspection reports. Facilities with better grades in this area most likely avoided the most severe deficiencies involving health risks or even death.
