Morrisville, Pennsylvania is a small city with 51,334 people. The city has just one nursing home, which is fewer than we were hoping for. We were relieved to discover that its only nursing home received a phenomenal overall grade of A-. By way of comparison, we gave the nursing homes in the local city of Mount Laurel a city grade of B, which is also an impressive grade. However, we found this facility in Morrisville to be an even better option than most of the nursing homes in Mount Laurel. Even in a state with many excellent cities to find nursing homes, we ranked Morrisville as one of the top twenty five rated cities in Pennsylvania.
To pair with its strong overall grade, we awarded this city's only nursing home an A+ for our inspections rating. Perhaps the most significant factor we look at in computing our inspection grades is deficiencies. These deficiencies can be found on a nursing home's inspection reports. Facilities with higher scores in this category typically dodged the most severe deficiencies involving things like patient abuse. This place also performed remarkably well in our short-term care category. In fact, it earned a grade of A-. Wrapping up its profile, Morrisville received grades of A- and B- for our long-term care and nursing areas respectively. Setting aside its nursing score, this place's three other categories were outstanding.
