Lawrence Township, New Jersey has only two nursing homes to choose from, so you don't have too many options to choose from. We gave the nursing homes in this city a phenomenal city grade of A. Even with just a few facilities, this is still quite an achievement. We found this city grade was considerably better than the city grade of B+ received by the nearby city of Jackson. Both cities received impressive grades, but Lawrence Township appears to be in a totally different league. We were so impressed with this city that we ranked it as one of the top 100 cities in the nation.
To go along with its great overall grade, we awarded this city an A+ for our inspections rating. Arguably the most important factor we look at in calculating our inspection grades is deficiencies. Deficiencies are found on a facility's inspection reports. Nursing homes with better scores in this category most likely avoided the most severe deficiencies involving patient abuse or death. In addition, the city performed spectacularly well in terms of its long-term care grade as well. As a result, Lawrence Township received an A in this category. Rounding out its phenomenal report card, Lawrence Township received grades of A and B+ for our nursing and short-term care categories respectively.
