There are two nursing homes in Monongahela, Pennsylvania, so at least you have a few options. The nursing homes here received an excellent city grade of B+. Even with only a few nursing homes, this is still an impressive city grade. Even in a state with many good cities to find nursing homes, we ranked Monongahela as one of the top twenty five rated cities in all of Pennsylvania. Fortunately, this place did not have any poor grades in any of the four major categories. More information about these categories is available in the next paragraph.
To go along with its strong overall grade, we awarded Monongahela an A+ in our inspections category. Perhaps the most critical factor we consider in determining our inspection grades is deficiencies. These deficiencies are found on a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Nursing homes with better grades in this category typically avoided the more severe deficiencies involving things like patient abuse. The city also performed spectacularly well in the area of short-term care, where we gave it an A- for this area. In our final two categories, the city were awarded a B+ for its nursing score and a C in the area of long-term care.
