There is just one nursing home in New Kensington, Pennsylvania. Sadly, this nursing home did not fare well in our assessment. We awarded it a grade of D, which is a terrible grade. In determining our short-term care scores, we analyze a facility's levels of skilled nursing services, which includes registered nurses, physical therapists speech therapists and other types of therapists. This area is typically a solid assessment of a facility's rehabilitation. The second highest grade we gave this place in any area was its nursing score, where it received a grade of B-. In the last two categories, the city were awarded a C for its inspections score and a grade of F for long-term care. As you can see, this city's long-term care grade really pulled down its overall grade.
