We were able to identify only one nursing home in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. We were relieved to discover that, this place's only nursing home received an excellent grade of B+, so at least there is one good option. This is a better score than the average city in the United States. The best part of this nursing home's impressive report card was its nursing score. Nursing is discussed in the following paragraph.
On top of being an excellent facility overall, this city's only nursing home really excelled in the category of nursing, where we gave it a grade of A+. Not many places performed better in this category. We analyzed the levels of nurses employed by the nursing home, in addition to the quantity of hours the nurses spent with patients, in calculating our rating in this category. This place also performed remarkably well in our short-term care category, where it earned an A-. Rounding out its report card, the city earned grades of B and D for our inspections and long-term care areas respectively. Even with its poor long-term care grade, the rest of this city's category grades were great.
