With 51,808 people, Revere, Massachusetts is a small city. Unfortunately, there is just one nursing home in the city. We were relieved to discover that, this place's only nursing home received a very good grade of B+, so at least there is one good option. For comparison's sake, we also looked at the nursing homes in the nearby city of Medford. We found the facility in Revere to be rated much higher than most of the facilities in Medford. While this seems like a fine option, we wouldn't blame you if you want to explore other cities to see what they have to offer.
To go along with its great overall grade, we awarded this city's only nursing home a grade of A- for our short-term care category. In crafting our short-term care scores, we quantify the nursing home's skilled nursing services, such as those performed by registered nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists and other types of therapists. Our purpose is to create a tool for sizing up the rehabilitation services of different nursing homes. This facility also fared well in the category of inspections, where we gave it a B+. Lastly, we awarded the city slightly below average grades for our long-term care and nursing areas.
