This is a middle of the road score compared to other cities in the nation. Although this probably is not a bad option, we would not blame you if you want to explore nursing homes in other cities.
Despite receiving a somewhat average overall grade, this city's sole nursing home performed remarkably well in our short-term care category. In fact, it received one of our highest grades in that area with a grade of A-. In computing our short-term care grades, we quantify the facility's skilled nursing services, such as those performed by registered nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists and other types of skilled professionals. Our purpose is to create a scale for sizing up the rehabilitation services of different facilities. This nursing home also earned an impressive inspection grade. We awarded it a B+ in that area. In our final two categories, this place received grades of B- and F for our nursing and long-term care areas respectively. In spite of an otherwise respectable performance, this city's weak long-term care score could be a concern for many prospective residents.
