With 52,523 people, Seminole, Florida is a relatively small city. There are only 2 nursing homes in the city, which doesn't provide you with too many choices. The nursing homes in this city received a phenomenal city grade of A-. Even with only a few facilities, this is still quite an achievement. We were impressed enough with Seminole to rate it as one of the top twenty five rated cities in the state of Florida. This is a reminder that this state has plenty of cities with great facilities. In fact, we awarded it an A for this category, which is one of our best scores. Inspection ratings are tied to datapoints located in the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Places that score well in this category typically have few deficiencies on those reports. Most importantly, these nursing homes generally do not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with risks to patient safety. In addition, we also wanted to point out that we awarded Seminole an A for our short-term care category. Wrapping up its strong profile, Seminole earned a grade of B+ for its nursing score and a B+ in long-term care. This place didn't have any weak links based on our assessment.
