With 65,810 people, Arcadia, California is a relatively small city. There are just 2 nursing homes there, which does not give you too many options. Unfortunately, we gave this city a city grade of D, which is a sign that these nursing homes generally did not fare well in our ratings. By way of comparison, we awarded the facilities in the local city of Montebello a city grade of F, which is a very poor score. Although neither city received a rave review, we found the nursing homes in Arcadia to be a better option. The only positive thing we can really say about this city is that it didn't receive any F's in any of the categories we assessed. More information about its category grades can be found below.
Arcadia received an abysmal overall grade, however, we gave Arcadia a B in the area of short-term care. Our short-term care grade is typically employed to gauge a nursing home's rehabilitation services. In order to have highly scored rehabilitation services, nursing homes generally need to have higher levels of highly skilled nursing services. Skilled nursing includes registered nurses, physical therapists, respiratory therapists and other highly skilled individuals. Surprisingly, we also awarded this city a respectable grade of C for our nursing category. In the last two categories, this place received a C for its inspections rating and a grade of C for long-term care.
