We were able to identify only one nursing home in Brunswick, Ohio. We awarded the city's lone nursing home a grade of B-, which is a a solid score. This is just about average by national standards, which is nothing to be ashamed of. One of the major highlights of this nursing home's report card is its stellar inspection score, which is addressed in the next section.
Despite receiving a somewhat average overall grade, this city's nursing home performed especially well in our inspections category. In fact, it received a nearly flawless inspection report this year. Consequently, we awarded it one of our highest ratings in that category with an A. We take several aspects of a facility's inspection report into consideration in calculating these inspection ratings. One key factor is deficiencies. It should be noted that the severity of these deficiencies is arguably more meaningful than the quantity of deficiencies, as some of these can be quite insignificant. This city's second best category was its short-term care rating, where it received a B-. In the other categories we looked at, this place earned a C for its nursing score and a C in the area of long-term care.
