While its overall rating was terrible, we actually awarded this city's lone nursing home a grade of B+ for our nursing category. This category clearly was not the source of this facility's alarming overall grade. The nursing grade consists of quite a few components, but the most important consideration is the quantity of nurse hours per patient per week. This city's second best category was in the long-term care category, it earned just a D. In the other categories we looked at, the city earned rock bottom scores for our inspections and short-term care categories.
