There are two facilities in Brookpark, Ohio, which at least gives you a few options. This city received a city grade of C based on the quality of its nursing homes. This is not a great city score. It looks like most cities received a B or higher, leaving this city on the wrong side of average. One of the best aspects of this place's report card is its stellar inspection score, which we will address in the following paragraph.
While its overall score was fairly ordinary, we awarded Brookpark an A for our inspections rating. Our inspection scores are based on several datapoints located in the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Places that receive favorable grades in this area tend to have few deficiencies on those reports. Most importantly, these facilities generally do not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with endangerment of patients. Brookpark received its second highest grade in the area of short-term care, where we gave it a C, which also isn't too bad. In the last two categories, Brookpark earned grades of C and D for our long-term care and nursing areas respectively. While we found most of its grades to be acceptable, this nursing grade is not a very good sign for nursing staffing levels.
