With 31,635 people, Franklin, Massachusetts is a small city. Unfortunately, there is just one nursing home there. We were relieved to discover that its only nursing home received an excellent overall grade of B+. For comparison's sake, we also looked at the nursing homes in the nearby city of Woonsocket. We found the nursing home in Franklin to be in a totally different league than most of the nursing homes in Woonsocket. While this seems like a great option, we would not blame you if you want to explore nursing homes in other cities.
In addition to performing well in its overall grade, this city's lone nursing home performed extremely well in our long-term care category. As a result, it received one of our best grades in that category with a grade of A-. When facilities receive this type of grade in this category it is typically a good sign for resident care and indicates that the place is well-staffed with nurses aids. This nursing home also received one of our better scores in the area of short-term care, where we gave it a B+ for the category. Rounding out its impressive report card, this place were awarded a grade of B+ for its nursing score and a B for inspections. This city didn't have any weak links as far as we could tell.
