There appears to be only one nursing home in Union, New Jersey. We gave the city's lone nursing home a grade of B, which is a perfectly respectable score. This should give you at least one solid option. We also looked at the facilities in the nearby city of Perth Amboy. We found the nursing home in Union to be a better bet than most of the nursing homes in Perth Amboy. The best part of this nursing home's impressive profile is its inspection score. Our inspection scores are based on datapoints found on the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Places that score well in this category typically have few deficiencies on their reports. Most importantly, these facilities generally do not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with endangerment of patients. We also gave this nursing home an A- for our short-term care rating. Rounding out its report card, we gave the city grades of B and F for our nursing and long-term care categories respectively. For the most part, we were pleased with this place's scores, but it didn't perform well in the area of long-term care.
