There are two nursing homes in Tomball, Texas, which at least gives you a few choices. This city received a city grade of C for an overall score. This is not a great city score. This score is below average by national standards. The best part of this city's profile was its nursing homes' exemplary inspection ratings. Inspection reports are discussed in the next paragraph.
While its overall rating was somewhat average, we awarded this city an A+ for our inspections rating. Arguably the most significant factor we consider in determining our inspection scores is deficiencies. Deficiencies are found on a facility's recent inspection reports. Nursing homes with better scores in this area most likely avoided the most severe deficiencies involving health risks or even death. This city earned its second highest grade in the category of long-term care, where we gave it a B-, which also isn't a bad grade. In the last two categories, Tomball earned rock bottom grades in our nursing and short-term care areas respectively.
