We were able to identify just one nursing home in Englishtown, New Jersey. We were relieved to discover that its only nursing home received an excellent overall grade of B+. For comparison's sake, we also assessed the facilities in the nearby city of Princeton, which has some good nursing homes of its own. Nevertheless, we found that this facility in Englishtown was possibly an even better option than most of the nursing homes in Princeton. The best part of this facility's strong report card was its inspection grade. Inspection reports are discussed in the next paragraph
On top of being a quality facility overall, this city's nursing home really excelled in the category of inspections, where we gave it an A+. Very few places earned a better grade in this area. Inspection grades account for a host of factors found on a nursing home's inspection reports. One key criteria we look at is the number and severity of deficiencies. Facilities with higher scores in this category tend to have few severe deficiencies. This place also really excelled in the area of long-term care, where we gave it an A-. Finally, we awarded the city a B+ for its short-term care score and a B- in the area of nursing.
