With just two nursing homes in the city, there are only a couple of options to choose from in Hastings, Minnesota. We gave the nursing homes in this city a top-notch city grade of A-. Even with just a couple of facilities, this is still quite an achievement. For comparison's sake, we also looked at the facilities in the nearby city of Inver Grove Heights, which received an impressive city grade in its own right. However, we found the nursing homes in Hastings to be rated even higher than the ones in Inver Grove Heights. In fact, we awarded the city a grade of A+ for that category, which is one of our best scores. Cities with these types of short-term care scores usually have plenty of facilities with physical therapy, highly skilled nursing and other services related to rehabilitation. The city also performed extremely well in our inspection category, with a grade of A for this category. Wrapping up its report card, Hastings received grades of A- and B- for our nursing and long-term care areas respectively. Setting aside its long-term care grade, this city's other three grades were just about as good as it gets.
