We discuss inspections in the next section
As mentioned above, this city's nursing homes received a great overall grade, but we also wanted to emphasize that some of its facilities received almost flawless health inspections in recent years. We awarded Stillwater an elite grade of A+ for this category. Inspection grades are based on many items located in the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Facilities that receive favorable grades in this category tend to have few deficiencies on their reports. Most importantly, these nursing homes should not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with endangerment of patients. In addition, the city also performed remarkably well in the area of short-term care, where we gave it a grade of A for that category. Wrapping up its report card, Stillwater were awarded an A- for its nursing grade and a C in long-term care. Outside of its long-term care score, this city's three other categories were just about as good as it gets.
