With 94,014 people, Napa, California is an average size city. Surprisingly, there are only 3 nursing homes in the city, which is fewer than we expected in a city of this size. The nursing homes here received an excellent city grade of A-. Even with only a couple of nursing homes, this is still quite an achievement. By way of comparison, we awarded the nursing homes in the nearby city of Concord a city grade of B+, which is also a good grade. However, we found the nursing homes in Napa to be rated even higher than the ones in Concord. Lastly, Napa is also one of the top 250 cities in the entire nation.
This city received a great overall grade, but we especially wanted to emphasize that we awarded Napa an elite grade of A in this category. Cities with these types of nursing grades generally have plenty of nursing homes offering quality nursing care. In addition, we also wanted to emphasize that we awarded the city an A in our short-term care category. Rounding out its excellent profile, the city received grades of A- and B for our inspections and long-term care areas respectively.
