With just two nursing homes in the city, you only have a few options in Federal Way, Washington. Sadly, the nursing homes here received a city grade of D, which is one of our worst grade at the city level. By way of comparison, we gave the facilities in the nearby city of Bremerton a city grade of F, which is a very poor grade. Although neither city received a rave review, we found the nursing homes in Federal Way to be a better bet. The facilities in Federal Way received a terrible overall grade, however, we gave the place a B- in nursing. Our nursing rating assesses a handful of factors, many of which are associated with quantities of nurse staffing. Surprisingly, we also gave this city a grade of B- for our short-term care category. In the last two categories, the city received rock bottom grades in our inspections and long-term care areas respectively. Clearly, this city's long-term care grade really dragged down its overall grade.
