Warwick, Rhode Island has six nursing homes to choose from, which is not a bad selection. With a city grade of B+, this place definitely has some good facilities. For comparison's sake, we also assessed the nursing homes in the nearby city of Woonsocket. We found the nursing homes in Warwick to be rated much higher than the ones in Woonsocket. Warwick is also one of the ten highest rated cities in Rhode Island.
In addition to performing well in its overall grade, most of the nursing homes in Warwick performed spectacularly well in the area of inspections. In fact, some of the nursing homes in the city received virtually flawless inspection reports this year. Consequently, we awarded it one of our best grades in that category with an A-. We weigh several aspects of a nursing home's inspection report in calculating our inspection scores. One key factor is deficiencies. It should be noted that the severity of these deficiencies is arguably more important than the number of deficiencies, as some of these are relatively insignificant. Warwick also received strong nursing grade where it received a B+ in this category. Rounding out its quality report card, the city received a B+ for short-term care and a B in long-term care. This place really didn't have any weak links based on our assessment.
