We looked at the only nursing home in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. We gave the city's only nursing home a grade of B, which is a quality score. This should give you at least one solid option. This city is one of the fifteen highest rated cities in the state according to our ratings. This facility's strong report card was highlighted by its short-term care score, which is addressed in the next paragraph.
In addition to being a quality facility overall, this city's sole nursing home really excelled in the area of short-term care, where we gave it a grade of A+. Not many facilities earned a better grade in this category. Our short-term care grades are probably more meaningful for residents in need of a nursing home for rehabilitation. Rehabilitation generally mandates more highly-skilled nursing. Skilled nursing includes not merely nursing, but also physical and respiratory therapy, as well as other variations of therapy. This nursing home also earned a B+ for our nursing category. Rounding out its report card, Grosse Pointe received grades of B+ and F for our inspections and long-term care categories respectively. Despite its weak long-term care grade, this city's other category scores were still very strong.
