There appears to be just one nursing home in Florence, Kentucky. Sadly, this nursing home didn't fare well in our assessment. We gave it a grade of F, which is a terrible grade. Nationally, most nursing homes received a much better grade than this place. Despite receiving an abysmal overall grade, this city's nursing home performed favorably in the area of long-term care. Indeed, we awarded it one of our better grades in that category with a B. Facilities that excel in long-term care tend to provide patients with closer supervision and stay on top of routine medical care. Florence received a lowly grade of D for its short-term care grade, which turned out to be its second highest category grade Finally, the city earned terrible grades for our nursing and inspections categories respectively. This city's weak inspections grade is without a doubt our area of greatest concern.
