There are two facilities in Manteca, California, so at least you have a few choices. This city's nursing homes received an excellent city grade of B+, so what this city lacks in quantity, it makes up for by having high quality nursing homes. We found this city grade was considerably better than the city grade of C received by the nearby city of Ceres. While that isn't an awful grade, Manteca appears to be a much better bet. This city's report card was also very consistent as it didn't receive a single weak category grade either. You can read more about these in the next section.
As mentioned above, this city received a great overall grade, but we also wanted to point out that we awarded Manteca an impressive grade of A- in the category of short-term care. With a short-term care rating in this range we'd expect most of the facilities in Manteca to a high functioning physical therapy and rehabilitation program. The city also received strong inspection rating where it earned a grade of B+ in this area. In our final two categories, Manteca received a B+ in our nursing category and a B- in the area of long-term care.
