Hendersonville, Tennessee is a relatively small city with 59,256 people. The city features just one nursing home, which is not the selection we were hoping for. We were relieved to discover that its only nursing home received a phenomenal overall grade of A-. We also looked at the facilities in the nearby city of Madison, which which also appears to be a strong option. Nevertheless, we found that this nursing home in Hendersonville was even better than most of the nursing homes in Madison. This nursing home's strong report card was highlighted by its inspection reports, which is addressed in the next paragraph.
In addition to performing well in its overall grade, this city's nursing home performed remarkably well in our inspections category. In fact, it received a nearly perfect inspection report this year. As a result, it received one of our best ratings in that area with a grade of A. Our inspection scores are tied to many items located in the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Facilities that excel in this area tend to have very few deficiencies on those reports. Most importantly, these places should not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with risks to patient safety. This place also received an impressive grade of A- in this category. Rounding out its profile, we awarded the city grades of A- and B- for our long-term care and nursing categories respectively. Outside of its nursing rating, this place's other categories were just about as good as it gets.
