While its overall grade was not elite, this city performed spectacularly well in our inspection category. In fact, we awarded Alliance an A- for that category, which is one of our best scores. Arguably the most significant factor we consider in calculating our inspection scores is deficiencies. These deficiencies are found on a nursing home's inspection reports. Nursing homes with better grades in this category most likely dodged the most severe deficiencies involving things like patient abuse. Alliance also received an impressive long-term care grade where it earned a grade of B in this category. In our final two categories, Alliance earned middle of the road grades for our short-term care and nursing categories.
