We assessed the only nursing home in Temecula, California. Fortunately, its only nursing home received a very good overall grade of B+. For comparison's sake, we also looked at the facilities in the nearby city of Vista. We found the facility in Temecula to be a better bet than most of the nursing homes in Vista. The best aspect of this facility's strong report card was its inspection reports. Inspection reports are discussed in the next section
To pair with its great overall grade, we awarded this city's sole nursing home an A+ for our inspections rating. We take several aspects of a facility's inspection report into consideration in computing our inspection grades. One key factor is deficiencies. It should be noted that the severity of these deficiencies is arguably more meaningful than the quantity of deficiencies, as some deficiencies end up being quite minor. This nursing home also really excelled in the category of short-term care, where it received an A. In our final two categories, Temecula earned grades of B- and D for our nursing and long-term care categories respectively. We are somewhat disappointed with its long-term care score, but there's still plenty to be impressed with in this city's profile.
