There appears to be only one nursing home in Sun City, California. This facility was awarded an overall grade of B, which is a good rating. For comparison's sake, we also looked at the nursing homes in the nearby city of Colton. With Colton receiving an awful city grade, we found the facility in Sun City to be rated much higher than most of the nursing homes in Colton. This place's strong report card was highlighted by its short-term care score, which we will address in the next paragraph.
To go along with its great overall grade, we awarded this city's lone nursing home a grade of A- for our short-term care rating. Our short-term care grades are based in part on a facility's quantity of skilled highly skilled professionals. This means a wide scope of nursing services, ranging from registered nurses to physical and respiratory therapists, in addition to other variations of therapy. This place also received one of our higher grades in the area of inspections, where we awarded it a B+ for the category. In our final two categories, Sun City earned a B for nursing and a C in the area of long-term care.
