Hemet, California has seven nursing homes to choose from, which isn't a bad selection. This city's nursing homes were awarded a quality city grade of B. By way of comparison, we awarded the nursing homes in the local city of San Jacinto a city grade of D, which is a very poor grade. Naturally, we found the nursing homes in Hemet to be on a whole other level than the ones in San Jacinto. This city's nursing homes were better in some categories than others, but it did not have any poor grades in any of our major areas discussed below. On top of receiving a good overall grade, the nursing homes in Hemet also received strong nursing rating. In fact, we gave the city a B+ in that area. High end nursing grades usually mean the city's nursing homes offer favorable levels of staffing. The city also fared well in the category of health short-term care with a B+. In the other categories we looked at, Hemet earned a B for its inspections grade and a B- for long-term care.
