We were able to find only one nursing home in Sanford, Florida. Sadly, this nursing home didn't fare well in our assessment. We gave it a grade of D, which is a very poor grade. This score is rock bottom by national standards. We don't have too many positive things to say about this place, but its best category grade was in the area of nursing. You can scroll down to find out about this.
This city's lone nursing home received an awful overall grade, however, we gave them a C in nursing. When computing a facility's nursing score, we look at the quantity of hours nurses are caring for residents and the levels of training of those nurses. Sanford's short-term care grade is its next best feature. It received a grade of C in that area. In the other categories we looked at, Sanford earned a C for long-term care and a grade of D in the area of inspections. Despite an otherwise excellent profile, an inspections score in this range is still concerning.
