There are two nursing homes in Mount Washington, Kentucky, which at least gives you a few options to choose from. While this place didn't have a ton of nursing homes, this city received a superb city grade of A-. We also assessed the facilities in the nearby city of Nicholasville, which received a city grade of F. We found Mount Washington to be on a whole other level. This place's strong report card was highlighted by its nursing homes' inspection scores, which we will address in the next section.
To go along with its great overall grade, we awarded Mount Washington an A+ in our inspections rating. Our inspection ratings weigh a host of factors included in a facility's inspection report. One of the most important criteria we consider is the number and severity of deficiencies. Places with higher scores in this area tend to have few severe deficiencies. In addition, Mount Washington also performed spectacularly well in our long-term care category, where we gave it an A- for this area. Rounding out its impressive report card, the city received a B+ for its nursing score and a B in the area of short-term care. We really found this city to be competent in each category we assessed.
