There are five facilities in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, which at least gives you a few options. Despite not having a ton of nursing homes, this city received a phenomenal city grade of A-. We also assessed the nursing homes in the nearby city of Green Bay, which which also appears to be a strong option. However, we found the facilities in Oshkosh to be rated even higher than the ones in Green Bay. Finally, this city's category grades were just as impressive as its city grade. To go along with its great overall grade, we awarded this city an A+ in our inspections category. We take several aspects of a facility's inspection report into consideration in determining these inspection ratings. One key factor is deficiencies. You should keep in mind that the severity of deficiencies is usually more meaningful than the number of deficiencies, as some of these can be relatively insignificant. In addition, the city performed spectacularly well in our nursing category as well. Consequently, the city received an A- in this category.
