With four nursing homes in the city, there are only a couple of options in Brick, New Jersey. This place's nursing homes received a strong city grade of B+, so what this place lacks in quantity, it makes up for in quality. We found this city grade is considerably better than the city grade of B- received by the nearby city of Perth Amboy. Both cities received decent grades, but Brick appears to be a much better bet. The best part of Brick's impressive report card is its nursing homes' inspection grades. Inspection reports are discussed in the next paragraph
In addition to having quality nursing homes on the whole, this place really excelled in the area of inspections, where we gave it an A. Few cities performed better in this area. Our inspection grades account for a host of factors included in a facility's inspection reports. One key criteria we consider is the number and severity of deficiencies. Places with better scores in this area generally have few of these severe deficiencies. The city earned a B+ for our short-term care category. Wrapping up its report card, this place received a B+ for nursing and a grade of B in long-term care. We found this place to be competent in every category.
