Davis, California has just two nursing homes to choose from, which is a limited selection. This place's nursing homes received a very good city grade of B+, so what this city lacks in quantity, it makes up for in quality. This is a better grade than the average city in the United States. This city's impressive profile was highlighted by its nursing homes' short-term care scores, which is addressed in the next paragraph.
To go along with its great overall grade, we gave this city's nursing homes a grade of A for our short-term care rating. High end short-term care grades typically mean the city's nursing homes have impressive physical therapy staffing levels. We also wanted to point out that some of its facilities received almost perfect health inspections in recent years. For this reason, we gave Davis an A- in this area. Wrapping up its report card, we gave Davis grades of A- and D for our nursing and long-term care areas respectively. Setting aside its terrible long-term care grade, this city's other three categories were just about as good as it gets.
