With 73,675 people, Leesburg, Virginia is a relatively small city. Unfortunately, there is just one nursing home in the city. We were relieved to discover that its only nursing home received an excellent overall grade of A+. For comparison's sake, we also assessed the nursing homes in the nearby city of Burke. We found the facility in Leesburg to be in a totally different league than most of the nursing homes in Burke. On top of this, Leesburg is also one of the top 25 cities in the United States. This is about as good as it gets.
To go along with its great overall grade, we awarded this city's nursing home a grade of A+ for our nursing rating. Nursing scores are largely tied to a facility's level of nurse staffing. We also gave this city an A+ for our long-term care category. Wrapping up its straight A profile, Leesburg received an A for its short-term care score and an A- for inspections.
