In addition to performing well in its overall grade, this city's only nursing home performed especially well in the area of inspections. In fact, it received a nearly perfect inspection report this year. Consequently, it received one of our highest ratings in that category with a grade of A+. Inspection grades weigh a host of factors found on a facility's inspection report. One key criteria we look at is the number and severity of deficiencies. Nursing homes with higher grades in this category generally have very few severe deficiencies. This place also really excelled in the area of nursing, where it received an A-. Rounding out its report card, the city earned grades of A- and C for our short-term care and long-term care areas respectively. Setting aside its long-term care rating, this city's other three categories were remarkably strong.
