We assessed the only nursing home in Lake Villa, Illinois. Fortunately,, this city's lone nursing home received a top-notch grade of A-, so at least you have one great option. For comparison's sake, we also assessed the nursing homes in the nearby city of Round Lake. We found the nursing home in Lake Villa to be rated much higher than most of the nursing homes in Round Lake. We were so impressed with this city that we rated it as one of the 500 best cities in the entire country.
As mentioned above, this city's only nursing home received a strong overall grade, but we gave them an impressive grade of A in short-term care. In the area of short-term care, we try to qualify measures of a facility's rehabilitation. We look at a facility's skilled nursing services, including those performed by registered nurses and physical therapists. This city also performed remarkably well in our nursing category, where it earned an A-. Wrapping up its report card, this place earned grades of A- and B- for our inspections and long-term care areas respectively. Outside of its long-term care grade, this city's three other categories were outstanding.
