Salisbury, North Carolina has seven nursing homes to choose from, which is not a bad selection. This city received a city grade of B- based on its overall nursing home quality. For comparison's sake, we also assessed the facilities in the nearby city of Lexington, which received a city grade of D. While we aren't raving about either city, we found the facilities in Salisbury to be slightly better. In fact, some of the nursing homes in the city received nearly perfect inspection reports this year. Consequently, Salisbury received one of our best grades in that area with an A-. Most importantly, these facilities generally do not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with endangerment of patients. This city's second highest grade came in our short-term care category, where it earned a B-. In our final two categories, this place received middle of the pack grades for our long-term care and nursing categories.
