We were able to find only one nursing home in Jeffersonville, Indiana. We gave the city's sole nursing home a grade of C, so it may be worth considering. Nationally, most cities received a higher grade than this city. While this likely is not a bad option, we wouldn't blame you if you want to explore nursing homes in other cities.
While its overall rating was fairly ordinary, this city's lone nursing home performed spectacularly well in our inspection category. In fact, we awarded it an A for that category, which is one of our best scores. Arguably the most critical factor we look at in computing our inspection ratings is deficiencies. These deficiencies are found on a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Nursing homes with better grades in this area most likely dodged the more severe deficiencies involving things like patient abuse. This city received its second highest grade in the category of long-term care. We gave this nursing home a C in this category, which isn't a bad grade. In our final two categories, the city received grades of C and D for our short-term care and nursing areas respectively. In spite of an otherwise decent profile, a nursing score this poor may be a bad sign for nursing staffing levels.
