With a population of 16,430 , Holland, Ohio is a small city. There are just 2 nursing homes in the city, which doesn't give you too many options to choose from. Unfortunately, we gave the nursing homes here city grade of D, which is a very poor score at the city level. As bad as this city's grade is, we shockingly found gave the nearby city of Trenton an even worse score. With Trenton receiving an awful grade, we would advise you to be very selective in either city. Despite all this, one of the few highlights of this place's report card is its strong inspection score. While the city's overall rating was awful, we awarded this city's nursing homes a grade of A for our inspections rating. We take several aspects of a facility's inspection report into consideration in calculating these inspection scores. One key factor is health deficiencies. It should be noted that the severity of the deficiencies is arguably more meaningful than the quantity of deficiencies, as some end up being relatively minor. Surprisingly, we also gave this city a decent grade of C for its long-term care grade. Lastly, Holland earned abysmal grades for our short-term care and nursing areas respectively.
