This city's limited supply of nursing homes received a quality city grade of B. This is an average city grade nationally, which is perfectly respectable. This city's strong report card was highlighted by its nursing homes' short-term care grades, which we will address in the next paragraph.
On top of receiving a good overall grade, the nursing homes in The Villages received strong short-term care rating. In fact, we gave The Villages a B+ in this category. Cities with these types of short-term care ratings generally have plenty of facilities offering physical therapy, highly skilled nursing and other services related to rehabilitation. In addition, the city received very good inspection reports this year as well, receiving a B in this category. In our final two categories, The Villages earned middle of the road grades for our long-term care and nursing areas.
