With a population of 15,757 people, Plymouth, Wisconsin is a relatively small city. There are just 2 nursing homes there, which does not give you too many options to choose from. The nursing homes in this city received an excellent city grade of B+. Even with just a few facilities, this is still a great sign. We also assessed the facilities in Waukesha, which received a city grade of B-. Although this is a respectable score, Plymouth appears to be a better place to find a nursing home. We were also pleased to find that this city didn't have any weak links in any of the four major categories. Additional information about its category grades can be found in the next paragraph.
In addition to performing well in its overall grade, most of the facilities in Plymouth performed extremely well in our short-term care category. The city received one of our best scores in that category with a grade of A-. Strong grades in this category usually mean a city's facilities have impressive levels of physical therapy staffing. We also wanted to emphasize that some of its facilities received almost flawless health inspections in recent years. For this reason, we gave the city an A- in this category. Rounding out its profile, the city earned grades of A- and B- for our nursing and long-term care categories respectively. Outside of its long-term care rating, this city's three other categories were remarkably strong.
