We assessed the only nursing home in Spanish Fork, Utah. This facility received an overall grade of B, which is a very solid rating. For comparison's sake, we also looked at the nursing homes in the nearby city of Provo. With Provo receiving a terrible city grade, we found the nursing home in Spanish Fork to be rated much higher than most of the facilities in Provo. Although this seems like a fine option, we would not blame you if you want to explore other cities to see what they have to offer.
To go along with its great overall grade, we awarded this city's lone nursing home a grade of A for our inspections rating. Inspection grades weigh a host of factors found on a nursing home's inspection reports. One key criteria we consider is the quantity and severity of deficiencies. Facilities with better grades in this category generally have very few severe deficiencies. This nursing home also earned a B for our nursing category. In the other categories we looked at, we gave Spanish Fork a grade of B for its long-term care rating and a C in the area of short-term care.
