We assessed the only nursing home in Spanish Fork, Utah. We were relieved to discover that its only nursing home received a very good overall grade of B+. In fact, this is the tenth best city in Utah according to our ratings. The best aspect of this nursing home's impressive report card is its inspection reports. On top of being an excellent facility overall, this city's only nursing home really excelled in the area of inspections, where we gave it an A. Not many places earned a better grade in this area. We take several aspects of a facility's inspection report into consideration in computing our inspection ratings. One critical factor is deficiencies. You should keep in mind that the severity of these deficiencies is usually more important than the number of deficiencies, as some deficiencies are relatively insignificant. This nursing home also performed extremely well in our short-term care category. In fact, we gave it a grade of A-. Lastly, the city received middle of the road grades for our nursing and long-term care areas.
