Please continue reading to find more information about how this city's nursing homes performed in our category grades.
We wanted to note that this city's inspection rating outpaced its overall grade. In fact, we awarded Rhinebeck a B+ for its inspection rating, which is one of our better grades. Perhaps the most significant factor we consider in determining our inspection grades is deficiencies. Deficiencies can be found on a facility's inspection reports. Facilities with better scores in this area most likely avoided the more severe deficiencies involving patient abuse or death. Rhinebeck also fared well in the category of long-term care with a B. Lastly, the city earned a C for its short-term care rating and a grade of F for nursing. Even with an otherwise decent profile, a nursing rating of this caliber may be an ominous sign for levels of nurse staffing.
