In addition to receiving a great overall grade, this nursing home received an A+ in the area of long-term care. When facilities receive a grade in this range in this category it generally means it's well-staffed and is a quality place to live on a permanent basis. After considering the quantity of nursing care, we turned to the facility's vaccination record. Pneumonia sadly is often a life or death ailment for nursing home patients so we like it when a nursing home does not take any chances. Although this wasn't as favorable as some of its other scores in this area, this statistic can be skewed for some facilities based on the preexisting medical conditions of patients.
